The biggest benefit of EMV is the reduction in card-present card fraud resulting from counterfeit, lost and stolen cards. Consumers with EMV chip payment cards can use their card on any EMV-compatible payment terminal.

A: Its not anymore!  We have access to a new program, American Express Opt Blue!  Why is this important?  No longer do you have higher costs, separate points of contact, another statement and slower funding time.  Opt Blue combines AMEX with other card types, gives you one point of contact, gets your money faster and best of all, can actually be cheaper than accepting some types of Visa and Mastercards!  If your business wants to add AMEX acceptance, contact us.

A: Most businesses are unaware but your bank doesn’t actually do credit card processing.  They simply provide their business clients information as leads to a third party company just like us!  The difference is that the bank also wants to get a cut of the profit.  So the processing company prices these accounts higher because they have to share profit with the bank and they know business owners will feel obligated not to switch because it would be disloyal to their bank.  In reality, when you call the number on your merchant services statement, you aren’t talking with your bank.  When you wake up and decide to switch, you will save money (much more than the 0.001% bump on a CD incentive the bank offers) and your “bank” likely won’t even know you’re gone.
